"The new British Diva" - NY Times

KOKO proudly presents Bishi’s new live work “Albion Voice”,  a spectacular cross-media performance of music and light, beautiful images and effects enhance the musical drama of the album to create a sensual and exhilarating experience.

In this 70 minute, one woman performance Bishi explores the myth, romance and reality of Britain ancient and modern through musical, literary and visual themes, an emotional journey that moves from anguish through acceptance to hope. Conceived and directed by new media artist Matthew Hardern (aka Glamorre) this work has charmed and excited audiences internationally.

To present this sensational show KOKO have installed an extra large screen and the space will be arranged in an informal cabaret style; seated around circular tables with standing on the balconies.

DJ Richard Torry will be providing a soundscape of orchestral and electronic splendour before and after, and Bishi will be signing limited edition CDs, ceramics and art prints in the bar area after the show.

Feel free to arrive early with friends and hang out in the theatre space to enjoy a drink and chat before the show.
