What to expect – Over the 4 weeks, emily will guide you through some basic, highly effective techniques from the ISHTA yoga & meditation lineage. You will also learn and begin to feel why meditation is so beneficial

A pavlovian effect
Meditation needs to be practiced regularly to reap the rewards. Each session aims to build layer upon layer, on the techniques. By signing up to the full course you will become familiar with the practices and most all begin to experience the benefits!

Over the past 20 years there has been a substantial increase in the interest and practice of meditation among westerns. This largely correlates to the rise in emotional and physical stress related issues.

Why should i meditate?
It de-stresses the body. With meditation, the physiology undergoes a change and every cell in the body is filled with more prana (energy).

On a physical level, meditation:
• lowers high blood pressure;
• lowers the levels of blood lactate, reducing anxiety attacks;
• decreases any tension-related pain, such as, tension headaches, ulcers, insomnia, muscle and joint problems, increases seratonin.
• increases the energy level.

On a mental level, meditation brings:
• the brainwave pattern into an alpha state that promotes healing.

With regular practice of meditation: anxiety decreases, emotional stability improves, creativity increases, happiness increases. You will gain clarity and peace of mind. And these are just some of the benefits!
