Sign Painting Weekender with Mike Meyer

This two-day workshop is a basic introduction to signwriting. Participants will moving through the basic technical skills required before gaining practical experience of a variety of letterforms in the signwriters toolbox. These will include gothic and script styles with attention given to the importance of layout and letter construction.

The workshop is highly interactive with most of the time spent working with paint and brush to play with and create letters, and then words. Throughout the weekend there is plenty of personal input from the signwriter facilitators to ensure that you receive the feedback and input that you need to make progress. This allows you to move at your own pace and to gain some of the critical skills to continue to practice in your own time.
