To celebrate the release of his second studio album, “Forever Dreaming”, London Soul Club and Mama Group present Myles Sanko - the lovechild of soul music & his band to London’s famous Jazz Café for a very special show on Tuesday the 20th May. Myles comes with a very unique interpretation of soul, jazz and funk.

Channelling the influences of artist like Bill Withers, Otis Redding, Al Green and blending them with itching beats and loose licks straight from the James Brown soul family. All these pinned together by Sanko’s mesmerising vocals, charisma and stage presence.

The former front man of funk improv’ kings Bijoumyo, Myles has already worked with some of the best players in the UK and beyond, including the highly respected Speedometer. His debut album “Born In Black & White” was released to widespread critical acclaim in 2013 and his crowd-funded follow up is already showing true evolution of his remarkable sound.

This guy is just amazing (Craig Charles – BBC Radio 6)

Great sound with a modern twist, we’re going to hear a lot more of this guy (Peter Young – Jazz FM)

Dubbed as "The lovechild of soul music” (Time Out Magazine)

Soul for grown-ups! Mellow, thoughtful, intense and really cool, all at once. An album all this good would be one of the albums of the year (Echoes Magazine)
