Fiddler on the Roof - Wimbledon Light Opera Society

With a reputation for well staged musicals backed by a strong ensemble, Wimbledon Light Opera Society are proud to present Fiddler on the Roof.

Set in Tsarist Russia in 1905, the story centres on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his Jewish traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives. He must cope with the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters – each one’s choice of husband moves further away from the customs of their faith. This wonderful musical is heartbreaking, heart-warming and full of some wonderful well-known songs.
