Cubed London Launch Party

After the success of Cubed at Queen Of Hoxton last June, the crew have returned to begin a new bi-monthly series starting Saturday 3rd May.
Named by Mixmag in December 2013 as one of the 'Clubs Of The Year' with previous & forthcoming guests including the likes of Groove Armada, Hudson Mohawke, Disclosure (Live), Heidi, Dusky, Jackmaster, Ejeca, Cyril Hahn & Bondax, Cubed are launching in London with two acts with very bright futures: WAYWARD & THE GOLDEN BOY.

WAYWARD joined us in Reading last December & instantly we knew we had to have them play for us once more.

Initially picked up on by Rob da Bank, Majestic & Eton Messy when Wayward dropped their debut 'Only Flaw' (it has now amassed 200,000 Soundcloud plays - a testament to the quality of even their earliest productions), the Leeds duo mix up a brilliant blend of house, tropical and soul which sets them apart from everyone else at the moment.

Alongside support slots for Eton Messy & Monki on their UK tours plus sets at Bestival and the legendary Annie Mac Presents at Camden's Koko, Eton Messy have recently invited the pair to play their Bunker at Global Gathering in July. Man of the moment Idris Elba includes 'Marvin VIP' on his recent mixtape, The Guardian tip Wayward as future stars...we're seriously hyped for this one.

THE GOLDEN BOY's remix of Lauryn Hill's 'That Thing' has already amassed 1,000,000 plays on Eton Messy's YouTube channel & its assault on pre & after parties shows no sign of letting up. It was the release that catapulted Dominic Hammonds to higher echelons within the UK scene.
