The Saatchi Gallery and Ministry of Nomads present a unique evening of music and performance inspired by, and set within, the impressive Pangaea exhibition.

Nigerian born composer and performance artist Helen Parker-Jayne, of the collective The Venus Bushfires, will play a captivating live set accompanied and interpreted by contemporary African dance.

Helen Parker-Jayne has performed extensively and created music for Sony PlayStation and Disney as well as had her songs featured on French TV and documentary films. In 2008 she orchestrated the world's first ever 'hang flash gig' which was broadcast on Channel 4, and in 2012 she played percussion with Sir Paul McCartney.

The immersive set aims to reflect a contemporary Africa and includes drums, percussion, guitar and vocals in Pidgin - the colloquial African language used in several countries across the continent.

The exclusive evening presents an unparalleled opportunity for guests to enjoy a drink whilst listening to the unique sounds of African inspired music within the striking exhibition.
