London is awash with street food, pop-up markets and foodie events so what makes Brixton Night Market so special? Simple - not only does it bring you the culinary stars of the street food scene mixed with a great atmosphere, but instead of being a commercially run entity Brixton Night Market is a Community Interest Company (CIC).

What does this mean? The company behind the event, T Jennings & Co CIC, was specifically set up to organise community events and provide opportunities for both Lambeth traders and new traders alike. Increasing the opportunity for both to trade because the street food and market scene is such a highly competitive arena for food traders.

As well as offering subsidised pitches that enables new traders an easier access point to enter this highly competitive market, it also allows them to hone their skills alongside more established names on the scene. Brixton Night Market also proactively supports the community by promoting the local economy and encouraging community engagement.

Taking place once a month at Windrush Square right in the heart of Brixton this tantalising mix of exciting food stalls offers street food delights, previous traders have included established names such as Fungi Pizza, Donostia Social Club and Bell & Brisket to up and coming new traders such as Bill & Beak, Choi Boys, Brownie Bar and The Freeranger*

*Please note: A full list which traders that will be attending April’s event will be released the week of event on Twitter and Facebook.

Brixton Night Market is always on the look out for new and exciting traders so don’t hesitate to get in touch
