Help for Heroes Concert Featuring: THE HEROES BAND

The Heroes Band is based on a military band format and was formed in London in January 2014 with the aim to raise funds for The Help for Heroes Charity through musical performances, in a similar manner to the Royal British Legion Bands.

The Heroes Band is performing their first ever concert on Saturday 24th May 2014 at St. John’s Church, Waterloo. The concert will include music from Film and Stage, as well as a rousing flag waving patriotic finale of Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory. In addition come and hear the stirring music of the bagpipes with special guest Bagpiper Callum Armstrong, who appeared as the piper in the Steven Spielberg hit World War I film; War Horse.
