Formerly a classical guitarist, powerful Greek baritone Dimitri Platanias made the successful switch to opera singer in 2000, impressing audiences across Europe. Platanias burst onto the UK scene in 2012 with a stunning Royal Opera House debut in the title role of Verdi’s Rigoletto.
