Fabrications Yarn Shop Day

Fabrications is proud to be joining the National 'Yarn Shop Day' raising the profile of bricks and mortar knitting shops and to celebrate the value that we bring beyond just selling wool!

We'd love you to come and join our celebrations! We will be offering a variety of FUN & FREE drop in style activities downstairs in our 'Imaginerium' craftspace including our famous MACRO knitting, Projects Advice & SOS (save our stitches!), Continental Knitting demos. We are also putting together creative free GOODY BAGS for the first 40 Yarn Shop Day customers.

The following 'knitting ambassadors will be with us on the day:

- Fabrications own Barley Massey will be sharing her tips on MACRO knitting & making your own upcycled yarns

- Jill Bulgan, a regular advisor at our fortnightly craft club and teaches a range of inspiring, progressing your knitting skills classes at Fabrications.

- Luise Roberts, author of numerous knitting & crochet books including 'First Knits' (on sale in our shop!) who loves to demo continental knitting as her party trick and is generously providing a free 'Marilyn Monroe finger puppet' pattern for the goody bags!

TO BOOK: You can stay for as long or short as you want, but we'd appreciate knowing if you plan to come along so we can acomodate you, brew enough tea & cakes and prepare enough materials! Contact / online booking via website calendar.
