Honky Tonk Clapham Launches The Sundowner Terrace - London's Little Hampton

Honky Tonk Clapham will proudly launch a new addition to the restaurant and bar this summer - The Sundowner Terrace on Thursday 15th May. The south facing sun terrace will transport guests to The Hamptons USA where you will be able to sip delightful award-winning cocktails, alcoholic milkshakes and several delectable dishes that you’d expect to find at Honky Tonk.

Continuing the summer theme are the new and improved Honky Dog's which will be served from their very own custom made Honky Tonk Honky Cart serving delicacies including the Blum Dog Billionaire as well as enjoying other American treats from the new summer menu. You can relax with the perfect sundowner cocktails from the summer drinks menu including the marmalade margarita, the pineapple shrub, Raspberry Caipirinha and Honky Tonk iced tea and watch dusk fall in over Clapham Common. So whatever time of day it is you can kick off your shoes feel the grass beneath your feet and soak up the rays whilst enjoying the finest food and drink Clapham has to offer.

Honky Tonk is the brainchild of Mark Cutler, one of the founder’s of supperclub London, and has become South West London’s destination diner of choice. There is regular live music and entertainment, with a particular emphasis on a variation of the blues, jazz and rockabilly played over a hundred years ago when the first Honky Tonks sprung up in the United States. With a late licence until 2am at weekends and a Saturday and Sunday brunch fit for any American President, Honky Tonk promises to truly keep Clapham rocking until the early hours. 


Diners can enjoy all-American dishes with touches of Italian and also deli-inspired food with many small plates served alongside larger ones. Diner favourites such as Beef or Pork Ribs, Pepper Steak Salad, Crab Cakes and Pulled Pork Sandwich. There are private dining opportunities for up to 30, which guests will access through a ‘secret’ wardrobe door, and even a private table located behind the stage where guests will be able to spin an oversized Wheel of Fortune to win prizes every evening.

Honky Tonk is a collaboration between Mark and creative bar and restaurant consultants, The Cocktail Service. Overseen by their talented team, Honky Tonk offers the perfect range of aged-in-the-barrel cocktails. The bar stocks a diverse selection of bourbons, as well as innovative drinks that cannot fail to astonish and delight, including the Pickleback shot made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon and pickle brine, the aged-in-barrel Sazerac and the unique and delicious Maple Trace.
