Footlights 2014

Footlights 2014 is the solo exhibition of artist, DuffGordon. The theme of which is his take on the performing arts, a spectrum of art from Ballet to Jazz. The exhibition will be held at Gallery 8, Duke Street St James’s from 22nd Sept – 5th Oct.

DuffGordon's eternal fascination with the"human condition” is the underlying inspiration for the body of work that he will be exhibiting during Footlights 2014 this September.

The focus for this exhibition is the Performing Arts. Exploring light and shade; through the beauty of the human form, excellence in individual and collective performance and human endeavour through the energy the performer projects. DuffGordon has drawn from his life experiences, enabling him to take his art to exciting new places. Its a vibrance collection of performers and musicians at their best.

After following a long and successful career in corporate design and marketing, DuffGordon return back to fine art and exhibited for the first time during 2011 and again in 2012. This was quickly followed by a series of private commissions from the UK and abroad. This Autumn he will be exhibiting his largest exhibition to date and features many works exhibited for the very first time. Footlights 2014 has drawn international sponsorship from USA and UK.
