This year we’re combining the beauty of one of Britain’s greatest flower shows with all the fun and excitement of a spectacular summer festival.
Hands-on inspiration is at the heart of the event. Discover a mix of glorious show gardens with a wealth of opportunities to see planting and country crafts close up; fine dining with dazzling floral displays and all things 'grow-your-own'; live music with fabulous shopping, fashion and food. A unique day out for all, in a truly majestic setting.
Planning is underway for the 2014 show and there will be exciting new features across the three zones of Inspire, Escape and Grow, as well as regular favourites making a return to the show.
Highlights include:
- The Conceptual Gardens will be themed around the seven deadly sins, with one garden representing each sin. This theme is sure to inspire some dramatic and provocative designs!
- A central wildlife feature will include a native butterfly house
- The RHS will be staging a new Talks Theatre with talks on a wide range of gardening topics
- Writhlington School will be creating a stunning and educational orchid display themed around a project they are undertaking in Sikkim, India
- Your Garden, Your Budget (in association with the APL) will showcase gardens that include practical solutions to the kind of design problems faced by home gardeners and at a range of budgets
