"We're waiting for Godot" join us "It'll pass the time"
Listening to the plays, the poetry, the prose, the letters and the some of the source material of the Irish writer who wrote his first play in French! Samuel Beckett whose astonishing mastery of language and whose humanity and humour inspired and inspires so many 20th and 21st century writers - Pinter, Stoppard, Albee, Havel and many others.
Monthly Performed Readings bring the words to life followed by an open discussion with admirers and enquirers in the comfortable surroundings of The Cockpit's bar.
2014 season announced!
This season, Mapping Beckett widens its scope and looks a range of writers from the Beckettian mind-map.

The season will culminate with a 4-week run of Waiting For Godot: 1st - 29th October.
