On The Roof With Q

This summer, Selfridges has launched an exciting new rooftop restaurant, On the Roof with Q from renowned restaurateur Des McDonald.

On the Roof with Q is set to be the al fresco-dining destination of summer, complete with spectacular views of the London skyline; diners will be protected from any sudden downpours by a retractable roof.

The all-day menu includes fresh seafood, super-food salads, afternoon tea with gluten-free and sugar-free options, and succulent meat dishes cooked over a charcoal grill. Desserts include Chocolate caramel torte and Apple & custard tart.

In the evening, the space is transformed, with diners embarking up a 'garden path' to emerge into a candlelit terraced dining area. The beautifully designed bar will serve a selection of wines, summery cocktails, refreshing jugs of Pimms and award-winning English sparkling wine from the Gusbourne Estate.

Throughout the summer and as part of the Q concept, an exciting programme of talks and events from some of the worlds leading chefs, producers, innovators and influence will also be hosted on the roof.
