Spielers, JW3's Amateur Dramatics troupe, present this rarely performed but hugely relevant Yiddish play subtitled "The Jewish Queen Lear". This play will be performed in English.

When Mirele Efros, a domineering Matriarch, is forced by her daughter-in-law to give up her late husband's failing business, a decade-long family struggle is set in motion. This profound, witty and moving story questions the true nature of family and shows the power and vulnerability of the Jewish mother.
