Mayhem’s Summer Shakespeare returns, with one of his most enduringly popular comedies.

Shipwrecked on the shores of Illyria and believing her twin brother, Sebastian, to be drowned, young noblewoman, Viola, sets out determined to survive in this strange land. Disguising herself as a man, she joins the household of Duke Orsino, who is pining for the reclusive Countess Olivia. When she sets out to woo Olivia on Orsino’s behalf, a whirlwind of events unfolds involving mistaken identity, cunning tricks and the folly of ambition and love.

Performed in the open air splendour of Nonsuch and Cannizaro Parks, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night is a bittersweet tale of laughter and longing, which will prove a delightful summer evening’s entertainment.
