Acoustic Sundays - short films

We are showing 6 short films from young directors. These are 6 very different and great films. The screening is before the Acoustic Sunday music event.

We will be serving pizzas, popcorn, elderflower champagne and a range of local ales and beers, to keep you fed and watered while you watch!

The films are:

LIFT - Dir. Michaela Lowe
Jake, who suffers Asperger's and is terrified of social interaction, strikes up a relationship with his lonely downstairs neighbour when trapped in their apartment's elevator

PAPER CUTS - Dir. Sophie Ansell
An absurd fairytale about a bored barmaid.

WHEN YOU WANT ME - Dir. Jack Hextall and Rick Sims
A half-man-half-badger, marginalized from society, lives rough in the city. After a naive girl takes pity on him the stage is set for a booze-fuelled love story featuring danger, depravity and a dancing dead squirrel.

JOB. - Dir. Alex Horsfall
Unassuming Simon gets a nasty surprise when he goes for a job interview. A dark comedy regarding the horrors of office-based employment.

FULL ENGLISH - Dir. Ben Oren
Full English is an exploration into movement and manipulation looking at the activity of breakfast, masked by a rhythmic beat of common breakfast sounds.
