June 2014: Opening on 30th June, Magnum ice cream, the brand synonymous with pleasure, will be the first ever food brand to take over the Selfridges Concept Store in the Wonder Room in London’s Oxford Street for just eight weeks. Kick-starting the Selfridges ‘Meet the Makers’ campaign, shoppers will be able to create their very own personalised ice cream at the Make My Magnum experience including a selection of delicious toppings and chocolate coating– a true celebration of Magnum chocolate and ice cream at its best.

Visitors to the hotly anticipated Make My Magnum Experience will enjoy a pleasure packed experience where Magnum Pleasure Makers will dip each ice cream individually in deliciously decadent chocolate. Shoppers will then be able to choose their own selection of tempting toppings to sprinkle over the setting chocolate. From rose petals to marshmallows and chilli flakes, there are over 250,000 flavour combinations to choose from. Each individual creation will be perfected with a drizzle of chocolate and the finishing touch; a classic M coin decoration; all for £4.50.

Available for a limited time only, Magnum will also be launching a limited edition Magnum ice cream inspired by Crème Brulée, exclusive to Selfridges. Complete with the iconic yellow packaging the special Magnum ice cream features swirls of caramel sauce and caramelised sugar pieces, and all finished with a layer of famous Magnum cracking milk chocolate. Delivered in a stylish yellow Selfridges box, complete with the timeless Magnum brown, the Magnum limited edition ice cream will be available in Selfridges stores nationwide until 30th August 2014.

Magnum will be the first brand experience to take part in the Selfridges nine week ‘Meet the Makers’ campaign this summer, which will hero the makers and producers behind the extraordinary gastronomic creations found at Selfridges. The campaign is the first dedicated food scheme since the store opened in 1909. Also look out for the beautifully decorated Magnum windows around the London Selfridges store, a summer finale to the brand’s 25th Birthday.
