City of London Festival

The Festival exists to entertain and inspire the City's workers, residents and visitors with special events and world-class artists in beautiful surroundings.

This year the Festival's eclectic programme promises something to please every taste, from acclaimed comedy by the hilarious Richard Herring and Katherine Ryan to classical performances by the sensational London Symphony Orchestra; from jazz by Clare Teal and Julian Joseph to a whole host of free family-friendly outdoor performances which will be taking over the City streets from 22 June - 17 July.

Seoul in the City
Internationally famed artists from South Korea will light up the venues and streets of the City of London this year. Highlights will include pianist Sunwook Kim, performances by Seoul's top B-boy crews and a unique Anglo-Korean concert of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in St Paul’s Cathedral.

Announcing three more amazing 'Seoul in the City' shows: an extraordinary Korean version of Hamlet, an exploration of Korea's traditional musical heritage with the brilliant Ensemble Sinawi, and Andersen's Gazes, an incredible contemporary dance interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy-tales.
