The Big Brooklyn Bowl Date. Thursday 17th July. The night where 700 single Londoners will come together and channel their inner Lebowski. And showcase their expert ball control to members of the opposite sex.

After the success of their previous dates (breaking world records on Easter Sunday with The World's Biggest Ping Pong Date and taking over the London Eye), activity-loving dating site DoingSomething are back. And this summer, they're teaming up with London's hippest new import Brooklyn Bowl to revitalise the retro-date idea of bowling night.

To get everyone loosened up, they're giving rollers a free beer on arrival, courtesy of Greenwich Meantime Brewery. Then with pairs of single guys and girls teaming up to compete in the Big Ol' Tournament in hopes of being crowned King/Queen of Brooklyn (and to win awesome prizes including tickets to Fun Lovin' Criminals live at the O2, this looks like a bowling date not to be missed!

Those that get knocked out early on needn’t worry though. Just behind the bowling lanes will be where the party’s at. And as the night progresses, Brooklyn Bowl's resident DJ will shepherd the transition from bowling alley to club night. And if you need some downtime from all the bowling excitement, there will be food available and served by American style Diner gals!

With free rolling all night long, a free beer on arrival and six hundred of London’s hottest, and most athletic singles, what’s not to like. You’d be a ‘Turkey’ to miss it!
