GOSH! Comics & The Crick Crack Club present: Spice Arthur 702

Spice Arthur 702, a Japanese Kamishibai troupe extraordinaire, turn the usually sedate art of Japanese Kamishibai into a fast, noisy and surreally addictive performance. Combining storytelling, hundreds of manga images and music to create something that resembles a live, larger than life, animated flick book – this is one-off, inimitable, phantasmagoric entertainment, quite simply not to be missed…

Spice Arthur 702 is a collaboration between manga artist and paper handler Pyonky Nishiziri, narrator Naomi Imai, and trumpeter Quick Lee Yum. Combining unbridled drama and sheer magic, expect a performance of comedy, biography, surreal quests and heartbreaking tragedy, unleashed with inexhaustible energy, genius timing, and illustrated with hundreds of stunning images.

Watching Spice Arthur at work is a little like watching a giant flick book in the hands of a genius...

This is a one-hour long performance in English, followed by Q&A session with an interpreter.
