On location with your tutor, you will capture illustrious locations in London and describe the place's character through its people, building, colours, environment, businesses and local activities.

Who should take this Photography Course?:

If you are new to digital photography, this course/workshop is perfect for you. Digital Photography for Beginners is also suitable for those who have used their camera for some time but would like to learn the basics from the beginning.

This class will teach you the aesthetics of photography, so it will help you reading your camera's manual and becoming familiar with adjusting the settings before you attend the class.

- Introduction to DSLR and camera handling
- Aperture (F/Stops and depth of field)
- Shutter Speed (freezing and capturing motion)
- ISO settings
- File formats (Tiff, JPEG, Raw)
- Learning from your mistakes
- Examples of London locations: Borough Market, Portobello Market, Waterloo Bridge, Westminster Bridge, Tower Bridge, Covent Garden, Soho and West End)

What you will need:
- Digital SLR camera (some compact cameras -with manual setting options may be suitable)
- Memory card(s)
- A note book
- Spare battery (not essential, as long as you're fully charged!)
- The manual to your camera (if you think you might need help along the way)
