Piece By Piece - Photography Exhibition

An exhibition that examines the family photograph as a mirror of history and cultural identity. Young people, in particular young parents, connect and piece together findings from the past to inform how they capture their own family heritage in a modern digital age. Unlocking family stories through photographs, artefacts and personal memories, the exhibition considers how photography has been used to document the family unit through the years and how objects, places and other forms of heritage connect people to their past and communities. Supported by the Heritage Lottery fund this exhibition is a result of a project by Eye4Change, a social enterprise using the camera as a tool to engage, educate and empower people of all ages and abilities.
