The Action Adventure movie is one of the most popular exports of the American film industry and the highest grossing genre in Hollywood. Spiderman, Avatar', Iron Man and The X-Men all account for billions of dollars worldwide.

Action Adventure continues to undergo major change, the world itself is changing, worldwide markets, advances in the film medium (CGI) 3D. The relationship between Action films and cinema form itself is a very close one.

The action story is potentially huge, bigger than any other form, as big as you want to make it – a myth that covers the world, an epic that covers a country or a story in one place like Die Hard. It is designed primarily to provide an exciting and energetic experience for the viewer.

A writer's workshop will follow the seminar (you do not have to bring work to take part). If you would like feedback, please bring your:

Pitches (set-up idea in 50 words or less)
1 Page Synopsis (the entire story in 500 words or less)
Scene (2-5 pages in screenplay format)
Shorts (up to 10 pages in screenplay format)

For scenes and shorts please bring 1 copy for each character + 1 extra for narration.
