After impressing everyone when she appeared as part of Hayley Sanderson’s “Stylophones Present…” gig we just had to ask Purdy back with a night of her own. This outstanding singer oozes charisma, which combined with her sultry style and surefooted vocal delivery makes for a masterful evening of highly accessible music. With influences ranging from Nina Simone to Nancy Sinatra, her vocal prowess is stunning and her live performances demonstrate a strong connection with any audience lucky enough to see her live. She has impressed at a number of major events recently, including a 90,000 strong crowd at Wembley Stadium, Formula One events around Europe and The London Lifestyle Awards 2013. In anticipation of her upcoming album release "Diamond in the Dust" Purdy is now working with legendary music business manager Alan McGee (Oasis, Primal Scream), affirming the potential she has to make a significant impact as a solo artist. The music is a mix of originals and some covers and is at the singer/songwriter end of the musical spectrum. The night wouldn't be complete without her brilliant supporting band, featuring some real talent: Tim Sentance on piano, Jamie McCredie on guitar and a rhythm section of Peter Bennie on bass and Dan Western on drums. Worth booking for this one.

"Great character, unique voice, a true artist" Alan McGee, Creation Records;
"So slinky, it shouldn't be allowed" BBC 6 Music
