A Play Set In A Bar; set in a bar.

The Glitch and Turn by Paul McNeilly is a play set in a watering hole; set in a watering hole. The action takes place at your table and at your elbow as you prop up the bar.

'at opening time the smell of bleach in bogs as fresh as a baby’s bum, then at night when the fat lady’s gone and done a bunk and anything could happen but seldom does, the last chancers puke and clutch, too proud to admit they’ve drunk too much... only you can hear the splatterings of sodden speech, spilling out across the bar...'

The play ran for four years to critical acclaim and packed houses, including a run at the Southwark Playhouse and is part of a new initiative by Rolling Stock to present interesting artistic events at their welcoming venue in Shoreditch.

**** “Original quirky, very funny. The script is brilliant; witty and filthy in equal measure with a raw and edgy dark humour that was as quick and as fierce as anything by Martin McDonnagh or Shane Meadows… I would really recommend anyone to seek out this production – it’s an exciting, original and highly entertaining piece of theatre with bags of spirit and humour that packs a mighty punch’. by Sarah Miles, Remote Goat
