Steel Pan Fusion - Live Show & DJs

A night of live performances featuring a number of the UK's top Steel Pan soloists. Although the steel drum is largely associated with carnival and calypso it has also played a significant role in other forms of music.

Steel Pan Fusion celebrates this legacy by hosting a summit meeting of the top pan players from Britain and beyond. Working with a repertoire of cutting edge jazz-fusion, soloists of the highest calibre will come together to showcase the steel drum as an instrument with a rich harmonic and melodic as well as rhythmic spectrum.

Backed by a top notch house band, the players are set to inspire each other to test the limits of their virtuosity. Furthermore, the bill will feature other instrumentalists and vocalists who have extensive experience of working in a pan jazz fusion setting.
