Laugh Out London brings the magic of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to a pub in Stoke Newington with an all-day festival of work-in-progress Fringe preview shows.

The day includes six great acts including DAVID TRENT, ANDY ZALTZMAN and TOBY.

Performances start at 1pm with each act to perform for 45-55 minutes with a 30 minute break between sets.

Shows are priced at £2 or £3 per performance or £6 for the whole day.

1pm

BEN TARGET – £2
Hooray for Ben Target

This is the show where we all get to bake a cake. ‘One of very few comics who manage to do something new with the art form while keeping an audience thoroughly entertained’ (Guardian).

2.30pm

LOU SANDERS – £2
Another Great Show Again

A genderless riot from a little old force to be reckoned with. Sanders goes hard-pedal without too much fuss. Forty five plus jokes, six props, one hero and I dare say a bit of heartbreak (you) and a smattering of ground-break (her). ‘Destined for hugeness’ (Time Out). ‘Crazy off-beat surrealism, something new is happening in comedy’ (Independent).

4pm

STUART LAWS – £2
When’s This Gonna Stop? (1hr Show)

An energetic and compelling master of audience interaction, Stuart’s spontaneous performances see him creating a perversely endearing air of comedic chaos in a show with catchphrases, lebkuchen, helium, gibbons, Billy Joel, volcanoes, spiders and Donnie Darko.

5.30pm

TOBY – £3
Fuzzbuzz

Feuding sisters have never been closer, mainly because Lizzie has bumped her head and is suffering from memory loss. Luckily doting sister Sarah is there to teach her a lesson. Stars of Live at the Electric (BBC 3), Anna and Katy (Channel 4), Dead Boss (BBC 3), Chickens (Sky 1). ***** (Fest). **** (Scotsman). **** (Guardian). **** (Independent).

7pm

ANDY ZALTZMAN – £3
Satirist For Hire

Zaltzman, half of the global smash hit topical podcast The Bugle, returns to Edinburgh to take satirical commissions from you, the public. Your chance to have issues you care about satirised to order by one of Britain’s leading political comedians. ‘Political comedy at its best’ (Sunday Times).

8.30PM

DAVID TRENT – £3
Live at the Pleasance Courtyard

This show contains: Projections. Shouting. Film. Shouting. Audio. Shouting. Shouting. The end. ‘He’s come up with a fresh way of commenting on the world we live in’ (Guardian). ‘In a just world, splenetic anger should pay his mortgage’ (Chortle.co.uk). ‘A searing blend of live rage and mashed-up video content’ (Scotsman).
