Franchise Opportunities Live, now in its third year, will offer a vast range of opportunities when it returns on 5 & 6 September at its exciting new venue, the Park Plaza, Victoria.

The new central London location not only provides excellent facilities to maintain the distinctive informal, yet business like atmosphere of Franchise Opportunities Live, it also makes the exhibition much more easily accessible for visitors travelling from afar. It is at the heart of London, a short walk from Victoria rail, underground and bus stations which have excellent links to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports and all the mainline stations.

It is the unique ‘match-making’ service that has contributed significantly to the success of the first two years. This innovative approach provides pre-arranged face-to-face meetings between exhibiting franchises and visitors. The system enables visitors to plan their schedules and so meet the companies who suit their criteria while making the most of their time.

The meetings themselves are conducted in a one-to-one environment, which not only allows visitors to ask any questions they may have directly to the franchise owner but also time for more detailed discussions in meetings. This provides the perfect environment for both parties to get to know one another and to decide whether they want to proceed further.

An exciting and varied range of highly successful companies will be looking for prospective franchisees to meet them at this event. These span a wide variety of sectors including food & drink, cleaning, home care, finance, property and fitness and include - Platinum Property Partners, McDonald’s, Guinot skincare, Kare Plus, thebestof and Cañas y Tapas from Spain, to name just a few.

As well as the superb facilities for in-depth meetings with franchisors, there is a packed seminar programme running over the two days, facilitated by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and covering topics such as how to choose the right franchise and offering important legal and financial advice. The ‘Franchise Hub’ will be back again, providing further networking opportunities with franchise consultants. For those hoping to place a higher budget investment there will be a series of dedicated discussions with the High Investment Franchise Panel.

There will also be a ‘Finance Clinic’ hosted by Franchise Finance. This dedicated area will provide a space in which visitors can seek the solutions to their financial questions in a more private and comfortable setting and gain advice on making a business plan. ‘Real Franchise Stories’ offers a chance for visitors to hear all about the ins and outs of becoming a franchisee. Experienced franchisees will discuss how they achieved their success and what difficulties they overcame in the process.
