Gabriel Fine Arts introduces three female artists in its 3rd exhibition “Summertime”

Gabriel Fine Art is honored to present you with the works of three talented England-based female painters this summer, Emma Harrison, Katherine Dove and K Blick.

Proprietor of Gabriel Fine Art gallery, Beata Maria Rzepecka says, “We are very excited to introduce you to three female artists whom we love dearly this summer. They came from very different backgrounds and have different styles. They all developed unique ways to assimilate real world images, personal experiences and their imagination into inspiring art works.”

The Korea-born artist K Blick explores the relationship of real and imaginary sceneries in her work. She sees painting as a journey into her magical subconscious daydream world. She is best known for her swimming and underwater oil paintings.

“I happened to know many Channel swimmers and watched their life-threatening adventures closely. I tried to capture their emotions during the journey in my work, of how they achieve a zen-like state on the way to their goal. I am particularly interested in underwater patterns that resemble a moment of beauty and a moment of frozen memory,” Blick says.

Blick is a London-based artist. She trained at Tokyo Mode Arts College and studied at Central Saint Martins College. She was an award-winning creative in Japan.

Katherine Dove’s artwork is characterized by her innovative incorporations of vibrant colours and various textures. Her biggest source of inspiration is her travels. She is drawn to the juxtaposition of architecture and nature.

“My love of painting stems from my love of life. I used vibrant colors to capture my view of the world. I do bold experiments and allow myself to make mistakes. When ‘accidents’ happened, turned out well and was repeated successfully, I know I am on the right track,” Dove says.

Dove had a number of highly successful solo exhibitions in Cheltenham and Cirencester. She was highly recommended in the 2011 Broadway art competition. She was voted as one of the most popular artists at the John Noot Contemporary Gallery.

Emma Harrison is a multidisciplinary artist who had active involvements in paintings, scenic art, graffiti, action art, theatre… Just to name a few. Because of her rich background and her fluency in many languages of art, her works are very diverse in style and fully express her multi-talented personality.

Harrison graduated from St Martins School of Art and Central School of Art. She played a part in the earliest graffiti movement in New York. She is now a well established scenic artist in the film and theatre industries. Her works were exhibited internationally, including in London, Chelsea, New York, Hawaii, and many cities in Australia when she was living there for more than a decade.

This is the third exhibition at Gabriel Fine Art. The gallery located in the Old Paradise Yard was opened in May this year. The surrounding buildings were formerly a Buddhist Centre, which has been transformed into a brand new creative hub to bring together creative entrepreneurs, artists, designers, photographers and film makers.

Beata Maria says, "The mission of my gallery is to provide a high-quality source of visual Art and Inspiration. It is my aim to promote vibrant, engaging and inspirational art when promoting talented artists from all over the world. As a gallery owner, I intend to present carefully selected exhibitions of Art when organising shows for talented artists throughout the year.”
