A celebration of the rich life and deeply moving music of John Tavener as what would have been his 70th year draws to a close. The Bach Choir and Philharmonia Orchestra perform some of his most iconic works, alongside the UK premiere of one of his last, “O where, tell me where?”, a setting of famous Scottish folk-songs. Joined by eminent cellist Ralph Wallfisch, soprano Elin Manahan Thomas and tenor James Oxley, conducted by David Hill.
