African Comedy Show

The African Comedy Show, the monthly show created by E&C Entertainment and sponsored by Ethiopian Airline will be back at the Hippodrome on 11 July.

On the bill this month are comedians Kalande Kasengele, Gordons and headliner Barry Hilton plus resident MC and comedian Mr African World.Regarded as a national icon in South Africa, Barry Hilton has received huge critical acclaim. In 2003 the industry paid tribute to Barry with a lifetime Achiever award presented at the Annual Comics Choice Awards and he’s hilarious performance in Dubai saw him shortlisted alongside John Cleese for the Best Comedy Act in Dubai's Timeout Nightline Awards 2013.

The African Comedy show is a monthly stand-up show featuring the very best of comedy talent from the continent of Africa brought to the UK. Since launching in May 2014 names likes Chris Forest, Joey Rasiden, Daliso, Okay Bakassi and Prince Abdi have all taken to the stage at The Hippodrome, Golders Green.
