Original music which span the genres of folk, americana, pop and singer-songwriter with a strong emphasis on three part harmonies.

With an arsenal of infectious melodies and soul-bearing lyrics, Louise Petit’s folk-tinged, alt-pop loveliness moulds the grit of life into stories of hope, happiness and despair. Joined by Russ Sargeant on double bass and Tim Heymerdinger on percussion, the trio’s undulating three-part harmonies and dynamic playing create something unique and distinctive.

With Louise’s achingly honest words telling the journey of a girl growing to understand some of life’s more difficult lessons, her struggles speak to many. In the past two years, two hand-made, self-released EPs have shown the diversity and progressive nature of Louise’s music with the added guarantee of her intimate involvement.

Based in Staffordshire, Louise Petit has predominantly played at venues in the Midlands, but a recent move and the release of her debut album ‘Louder than your Drum’, has instigated changes for the band and Summer 2014 finds them performing the album in everything from living rooms to regional venues.
