After a successful run at the Arcola Theatre, Close to the Wind are proud to present the UK premiere of Paloma Pedrero’s Wolf Kisses.

- That’s just it. I’ve come to wake you up.

This dreamlike tale follows the story of Ana, a young convent educated woman who returns to her rural town and awaits her distant lover.

Family secrets, past friendships and love interests are unearthed while Ana holds on to the hope that her lover will return.

As Ana’s self-created illusions start to unfold, her resistance to the norms of village life creates a struggle that threatens to damage the lives of her friends and family.

Featuring live music and an original score, this fantastical production examines how far the game of escaping reality can take us.

Is making one’s own world up enough to shut nightmares out?
