The CoppaFeel! Lectures, in association with popchips, are a series of stimulating talks aimed to provoke thought and get you into healthy habits.

Come along to Lecture No. 4 to hear from Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, Louise Court, founder of WAH! Nails, style blogger and trend consultant Sharmadean Reid and Managing Director of Benefit Cosmetics UK Ian Marshall, along with his business partner and general manager, Gail Bojarski who will speak about how they started Benefit UK from their kitchen table and have made it into the cult make up brand you see today.

Louise Court
Before joining Cosmopolitan in February 2007, Louise was Editorial Director of ACP-Natmag, overseeing Best, Reveal and Real People. Prior to this, she was Editor of Best magazine for seven years, Deputy Editor of Prima, Deputy Editor of Best and Assistant Editor of Woman's Own. Louise came into magazines form the Daily Express where she was a show business writer covering news and features, as well as writing her own columns. She has previously worked at the SUnday Express, Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday having trained in local papers in Sussex and Surrey.

Ian Marshall and Gail Bojarski
Benefit Cosmetics' Managing Director, Ian Marshall and General manager, Gail Bojarski, met and became friends whilst working for the Estée Lauder group and it was this friendship which gave them the courage and inspiration to leave their jobs and become business partners. Together the brought Benefit Cosmetics over from the US to the UK back in 1996 and from then on it has grown to become the UK's number 1 premium make up brand, with many iconic and best-selling products.

Sharmadean Reid
In 2008, Sharmadean had an inkling that the nail art she and her friends had been sporting for years was about to hit the mainstream, so set about creating the WAH! Nails salon... and boy was she right! The ultimate trendsetter now has been dubbed as "one of the 15 people who will define the future of arts in Britain" by the Independent and is on a mission to inspire young women to achieve their entrepreneurial goals.

The CoppaFeel! Lectures is a charity fundraiser and all money raised will go straight into funding the education and awareness work which CoppaFeel! carries out across the country through festivals, campaigns, school visits and university campaigns.
