FXB International, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to lifting people out of extreme poverty, today announces the launch of a new photography exhibition - FRAMING HOPE: Celebrating 25 Years of Poverty Eradication with FXB International - by world-renowned photographer Jillian Edelstein.

Opening at London’s gallery@oxo on 14th August 2014, the exhibition features 25 inspiring images shot by Jillian Edelstein, capturing the stories of hope and success of families in Burundi, China, Uganda, Colombia, India and Rwanda who joined the ground-breaking FXBVillage programme – a pioneering, three-year holistic programme to bring about long-term poverty eradication.

In the last 25 years, through numerous projects including the FXBVillages, sustainable community development, infrastructure rehabilitation, education, prevention, awareness and access to water and sanitation programmes, 17 million adults and children across 20 countries have benefited from the presence of FXB International in their communities.

The exhibition will also feature the winning photograph from FXB’s Global Photography Competition. The competition asks amateur photographers across the world to submit a single photograph that best conveys the theme "Framing Hope". As well as having their work exhibited at gallery@oxo, the winner will also win a masterclass with Jillian Edelstein.
