Footloose is the second movie in our summer film series, run conjunction with Nomad Cinema.

You think I’m Small Town? A rebellious young Kevin Bacon taps his way through this 80s milestone movie, as Ren McCormack, a bored city kid attempting to adapt to life in an ultra-conservative backwater Midwestern town, where dancing and rock music have been banned.
Also starring a young Sarah Jessica Parker, with Dianne Wiest and John Lithgow in supporting roles, plus a full-on 80s soundtrack, featuring Bonnie Tyler’s irresistible hit ‘Holding Out for a Hero’.
