Join us for a black tie dinner in a unique event filled with history, art, music and prominent guests on the 30th July at the historic Cadogan hotel one day before it closes for a 2-year refurbishment. It was 127 years ago when the Cadogan hotel was built and since then some of the world’s most prominent personalities have visited it. It is a landmark that has helped shape the history of the Kensington & Chelsea area and it is the hotel in which Oscar Wilde was arrested as well as Lilly Langtry often resided.

The event will take place between 19:00 to midnight starting with pre-dinner drinks at the hotel's bar, moving to Langtry's restaurant for a 3 course dinner and for those who wish to have a drink afterwards the hotel's bar will remain open until 23:30. Carriages at midnight. Guests will have the chance to socialise, enjoy a live performace by a Baroque Violin and Cello duo from the Royal College of Music and view a selection of contemporary paintings as well as other artistic creations such as hand-painted scarves.

The General Manager of the hotel will talk about the hotel and its history and we are delighted to have Mr Rupert Allason, Author, Historian and Former Member of Parliament and Mr David Glasser, Executive Chairman of the internationally known Ben Uri Gallery and Museum as our Guests of Honour. Part of the proceedings from the event will go to selected charities and CWO's.

If you require overnight accomodation at the hotel on the same night or the night before, please email us at [email protected] in order to provide you with our special rates for the event.
