The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and the BFI (British Film Institute) present the latest in their prestigious series of lectures featuring James Schamus, Emma Thompson and Steven Knight, who between them boast seven BAFTA and Oscar nominations and multiple awards for their screenplays.
Now in its fifth year, the BAFTA and BFI Screenwriters' Lecture Series exists to celebrate screenwriters' authorial contribution to film and gives esteemed writers a platform to share highlights and insights from their careers with an audience of film-lovers and their peers.
The events take place as follows:
James Schamus - Thursday, September 18 @ BFI Southbank
Emma Thompson - Saturday, September 20 @ BFI Southbank
Steven Knight - Monday, September 29 @ BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly
