The 2014 festival August 16th at the Croydon Road Recreation Ground in Beckenham follows the successful Memory of a Free Festival in September last year.

This year's event is again being organised by Natasha Ryzhova Lau and an enthusiastic team of volunteers. Also involved in the organisation are Roger Wotton, leader of Comus, the group that played every Sunday at the Beckenham Arts Lab in 1969 and Mary Finnigan who founded the Arts Lab with David Bowie and co-organised the Free Festival. Proceeds will again go to the bandstand fund.

Live music will include performances from the great American folk/blues artist Amory Kane, guitar maestro Bill Liesegang Roger Wootton of Comus( all three of these musicians played at the 1969 festival) there will also be new bands as well as a few that played at last years event.

The Gingham Goose craft stalls will again feature high quality craft and design, mostly from local sources.

Plus there will be a wider selection of food & beverages and the festival will run from 1.00pm to 7pm, admission £5.00 (under 10's free)
