Yaaba Funk (UK/Ghana) - 12th London African Music Festival

The 2014 London African Music Festival will run again for 10 days, take place in 16 venues across the city and include more than 100 among the best Artists and Musicians around like Yaaba Funk.

YAABA FUNK creates a floor-filling extravaganza combining the tightest rhythm section this side of Accra. Fat analogue bass lines, blazing horns, sparkling African guitar riffs and gritty rock guitar lines have made Yaaba Funk one of the finest afro-funk bands in the UK and the band with the most exuberant live shows. Tonight they play from their bass heavy new album “ “MY VOTE DEY COUNT” (Sterns Records).
