Join our exclusive workshop at the Garden Museum and you will leave with two beautiful, unique Christmas wreaths, which you’ll make under the expert tuition of Rosemary Campbell-Preston, Jane Macfarlane-Duckworth and Rhea Thierstein. Materials included.

Rosemary Campbell-Preston, founder of The Plant School, London and Paris, will share her botanic knowledge on how to observe and gather the most suitable hedgerow and garden material for wreath making. With her guidance, you’ll make your own front door wreath, using fresh plant materials. Rosemary has a degree in Plant Sciences and has lectured widely, including in the USA.

After a delectable two-course lunch, Jane Macfarlane-Duckworth, founder of The Flower Union, a collective of English flower growers, florists and artists, and

Rhea Thierstein, artist and art director, will lead the creation of a second wreath, ideal as a table or door decoration. Rhea's clients include Claridge's, Hermès and Mulberry and her work features in British and American Vogue.

To link with the Garden Museum's heritage, the second wreath will explore themes depicted in Emanuel de Critz's portrait of John Tradescant the Elder at The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.

Limited places available, to provide enough time for tuition. Botanic and instruction notes provided. You are welcome to bring items from home to personalise your wreaths.

Ticket price includes coffee and lunch; with farewell glass of mulled wine and Cointreau-infused mince pies.
