After years of success as the SW11 Literary Festival, the team behind this series of creative, literary events in south west London is back once more for the first Battersea Literature Festival.

There are over 20 events taking place over a two week period in venues around the Clapham Junction and SW11 area, from 1st to 15th of September 2014.

Top writers, publishers and personalities from both inside and outside the borough, will host talks, book signings, readings and workshops, which are either free to attend or tickets are offered at a minimal charge.

The incredible line up of writers and authors taking part this year include Laura Bates of Everyday Sexism fame, David Mitchell, Mark Thomas, Mark Billingham & Tania Carver and Richard Curtis & Joanne Harris. The first Battersea Literature Festival looks set to be a well attended series of events this September.

This event is organised by the Clapham Junction Town Centre Partnership and Waterstones, supported by Wandsworth Council. This year the festival welcomes BACK local author Isabel Losada as Artistic Director.
