Kinky Way was started in 2008 by Jørn Back, Magne Jensen sand Bamse Mork-Knutsen, Ronald Nolet was recruited and the backing band and choir was established.The band has had several large concerts locally in Halden, Norway.In 2011 the band hosted the 1st Nordic Kinks Konvention.They have been sharing stage with the Kast off Kinks on several occasions, and was in 2013 awarded with the 1st Nordic Kinks Fan Award.
