Join Opera Lyrica for a fun-filled evening of deception, suspicion, seduction and silliness!
Don Alfonso bets his two soldier friends, Ferrando and Guglielmo, that he can prove that all women are fickle in their affections, despite the men's protestations that their girlfriends, Fiordiligi and Dorabella are different. They concoct a plan to pretend to go away to war, and come back to try and seduce the girls, disguised as foreign visitors. Will Fiordiligi and Dorabella manage to keep their faith and virtue in tact in spite of this temptation?
Featuring a cast and orchestra of superbly talented up-and-coming musicians, this is not to be missed:
Fiordiligi - Elinor Rolfe Johnson
Dorabella - Sarah Denbee
Despina - Kristy Swift
Ferrando - Peter Davoren
Guglielmo - George Coltart
Don Alfonso - Oliver Hunt
Conductor: William Cole
Director: Paola Cuffolo
