Max Reinhardt from BBC Radio 3’s Late Junction presents an Erased Tapes Music series
After a much talked about first event, which saw Erased Tapes singer-songwriter Douglas Dare recite the poems from his debut album, Erased Tapes Music now announces the second part of their innovative series with a seasoned composer, Michael Price.
Best known for his television score on the BBC hit series Sherlock alongside David Arnold, this intimate evening will see Michael perform excerpts from his newly published sheet music book A Stillness for String Quartet – rearranged for piano and cello. Michael will also reveal some newly composed pieces, accompanied by his long-term collaborator and cellist Peter Gregson.
Erased Tapes is home to some of today's most inspiring contemporary composers and known for its eclectic and yet highly distinctive sound.
