Damien Flood

Is a singer/songwriter/pianist whose warm stage presence and soulful voice has been a real presence on the London music scene for many years now. A vocalist of outstanding talent, he has previously performed on the West End stage and received critical praise playing the leading role of Roger in the Tony award-winning musical "Rent". As confident performing original material as playing classics from soul legends such as Stevie Wonder, Michael McDonald and Marvin Gaye, its no surprise he has showcased his talent as some of the UK's foremost venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, The 02 and Wembley Arena. Damien's calibre is clearly documented by the artists he has performed with, including Jamiroquai, Tom Jones, Robbie Williams, George Michael and Jamie Cullum to name a few. For his 606 date, he will play songs from his latest CD, “Lucky Seven” and may even debut a couple of new tunes from his next recording, which he is working on right now. Damien will be joined on stage tonight by an amazing band including the very talented Chris Newland on guitar, with a brilliant rhythm section of Alle Pearce on piano, Diego Rodriguez on bass and Dave Imby on drums. You will also see special guest Jeff Gordon (Jazz Warriors) on sax adding further weight to an already highly impressive line up.
