OXO2 BRINGS THE OUTSIDE IN WITH THE GARDEN GATE POP-UP KITCHEN AND BAR

This summer sees the return of South Bank venue OXO2’s summer pop-up, The Garden Gate.

Fun casual dining menu in their Kitchen and Bar.

Theming will bring the outdoors in, with kitsch secret garden decor creating the atmosphere of suburbia in the heart of the capital.

Guests who bring a garden gnome will receive a free drink (and one for their diminutive companion!).

At the bar guests will be able to sample a garden themed cocktail list of fruit and vegetable based drinks, including the Orchard Mojito, Flower Show and Cucumber Fresh.

Watering cans of cocktails are available for guests to share. Guests will be able to chill-out on a deck chair sipping a cocktail and admiring the fabulous views of the river.

Entertainment will also be provided, with table tennis, Jenga and and coits available during the day, and ‘hook a duck’ where guests can join the gnomes fishing around the pond to win a free ice cream.

Areas can be reserved for groups of 6 of more by emailing [email protected].

Concerto CEO Teresa-Anne Dunleavy said: “We can’t wait to welcome our first guests to the Garden Gate, which is returning after a hugely successful launch last summer. Don’t forget your gnome".

Really quirky, fun garden theme. A varied reasonably priced menu drew my mum and I into the restaurant. We were somewhat intrigued, and as we were about to go in, two young ladies on their way out, told us how lovely the food was and to say 'the gnomes are coming' to the waiting staff, in order to get a buy one, get one free cocktail. We were shown to a table by the window, with a wonderful view overlooking the Thames and St Paul's Cathedral. We sat in garden chairs and were surrounded by subtle touches of garden related objects. Amazing food, cheerful friendly staff and atmosphere. Perfec
